OMG so much has happened since my last POST

Impossible to fit it all in one title:)

this will be an amazing post my dear friends

where to begin??

lets talk about some homemaking stuff first, as I am an official published homemaker now- my book Sofra with Beril Akcay is out! we will talk about that in a minute but first:

I don't know if you heard of the store called Party City

its my new hang out spot lately...

I was hopping to find some, cute wedding celebration cards for my friends getting married this summer- that's was the first time i went there and OMG! unbelievable! I loveee this place

every single option for very single party idea\YAY

i take gift wrapping very seriously, so does Party City :)

in August where i will be back from all my summer vacations- i will throw an amazing Party City party, stay tuned for pics!

I want to talk about the latest photoshoot i did...well actually its a surprise photo shoot as i am going to launch a new product this fall- so exciting!!!

but i am keeping it a secret right now- this is a sneak peak of what we did, and my look and my costume...Maybe you can guess the product, who knows???

to let go...unwind...keep calm...

Nature is the answer- i am telling you...

so from now on i will grow my own lemons:)

if you are in the Southern California definitely go to Roger's Gardens...its an amazing place...take your dogs with you...you can go around...look at the amazing products...shop....Fun!

Although lemons and limes may not be what you would choose for an afternoon snack, we consider them as powerhouses when we want to bring out the flavor of other foods. While both are available throughout the year, lemons are in the peak of their season around May, June and August while limes are at their peak from May through October.

Lemons are oval in shape and feature a yellow, texturized outer peel. Like other citrus fruits, their inner flesh is encased in eight to ten segments.

Usually smaller than lemons, limes are oval or round in shape having a diameter of one to two inches with green flesh and skin. They can be either sour or sweet depending on the variety; however, sweet limes are not readily available in the United States. Sour limes contain citric acid giving them an acidic and tart taste, while sweet limes lack citric acid and are sweeter in flavor.

for a nice relaxing weekend...Two Bunch Palms is this magnificent boutque hotel with a natural spring water pool...also the SPA is very good...well i was in between very busy weeks so it was a good getaway for...also has to pack very little and very light:)

Finally on a law tuesday night i found the time to concetrate and write my BLOG and tell you all about what has been going on lately...

where to start?

Lets start from the AMAZING John Wayne Cancer Institude annual Gala

It was at the Beverly Wilshire HOTEL, which is totally magnificent!

if you have seen the movie Pretty Woman- who hasn't right:)
thats the Hotel that it was filmed at...

When Julia Roberts was walking in the lobby back from her shopping spree at Rodeo Drive, ahhh FAB!

i couldnt find the picture for that scene- but heres another one,

I think i have seen this movie like 30 times LOL

so anyways the Gala was an amazing night-the entairtainment was by Rachael MacFarlane( American Dad, Family Guy)

and Lots of donation from supporters, especially during the live auction!

I want to talk about the Institude- because their work and research on cancer is so remarkable- very happy to support this cause...I beleive that all of us; one way or abother affected by this horrible disease...families... loved ones...friends...so when its time to show and give back to this kind of resarch i am very willing to be a part of it...

Tommy's Burger is this little corner place- well right now they made it into a big chain restaurant :)
but i like the original location which is in LA close to downtown-where it all started

i never drive there myself, its always with my friends so honestly i still don't know the exact adress but everybody knows Tommy's Burger in LA
easy to find out!

its always open 24/7

and you will see limousines pulled up people in gowns and tuxedos eating the most delicious greasy food in the world

This LOVELY Wedding Setting is for my friend Michelle's mom Suki and her husband

that i went to last weekend
it is most definitely one of the greatest weddings i have been to
everything was so tasteful and elegant...

sometimes, some weddings can go crazy with the beads and the decorations and the over bearing details

Michelle did a great job- as she helped a lot to her mom
it was so neat and chic and classy
