Let's talk HAIR, shall we???

This is the first of the 2 very imp. posts: about hair&make-up

I get so many questions about my hair and make-up so its time for the ultimate Hair file!
-and one of the fallowing days i will post the ultimate make-up file...ah i have so many posts still waiting for me to put together and publish...
mannnnny things to talk about- i have so little time unfortunately:((

but, would like to take a second and thank all of you from all around the world- for fallowing and supporting my BLOG!!!

so HAIR:

My hair, most of the time:) looks great!

its safe to say that- but it takes so much effort and work

I am not one of those-naturally perfect haired ladies...than again i don't really know if there is such a thing anyways, because for everything that you want to look beautiful you have to put in lots of work- i think the standards are really high in todays world... things don't get considered pretty as easily as its used to be...
so ladies lets get to work!
my hair up:

 i'm rockin the Red Carpet

loveee wearing updo's. This is an up-do by my hair stylist Catherine
TOTAL red carpet hair

Of course, i get my hair styled constantly...Blow dry, teasing, curling iron finish, style finish, pony tails, up-do's, messy up-do's, clip-ons...etc...etc...etc...

Countless things that i get done- but thats the further step- first step is how you keep your hair, how you take care of it...

I am sure many of you go in the Salon's for hair conditioner treatments but thats not enough- you need to have a cycle of your own... at your own homes...

this is mine:

lets start from the basix:
shampoo-conditioner

Goldwell color shampoo
Bamboo Volume conditioner

now, i don't use the same ones over and over and over again...

We talked about this in my previous Blogs-

there has to be a cycle of using different products... switching back and forth...

especially with shampoo= once your hair starts getting used to the mix- it is not as effective anymore...

if you are dying your hair you HAVE to HAVE a color protection shampoo- very imp!

I love Bamboo line from Alterna. its really good

another product that i use very often is Alterna Caviar Shine boost
-what i do is after conditioner- i put this on wait for 15 mins and than rinse my hair!
(the purple bottle has this weird discoloration on the side being in my shower cabin:)
but this product is AMAZING) especially for Colors and to protect it from fading... hate when the color becomes dull...

at least once a week: i do this OJON oil treatment
your hair needs OIL!
dont hate oil!

i am serious i have so many friends that don't do oil treatments bec they hate their hair getting oily... well, if it does not than it will get dry, get breakages and the color will look horrible.

OJON is great- i also use Jose Maran- Argan oil and Moroccan Oil hair products... like i said i switch every month.

with OJON: i put it on the hair top to toe... sleep on it... wash the next day. how easy is that!

ok so-the next product is my biggest secret on the planet:)))

it really is- never told anybody about this- but now its everybody's time to find out:

I rinse my hair with RAW VINEGAR!!!
let me tell you the story first:

My main Hair stylist is Celebrity hair stylist Jorge Serrano( luv him)
he does my color and cut
he is the one who changed my platinum blonde hair to full brunette in one day- he is AMAZING

He is at Chris McMillan salon- in Beverly Hills

Chris( the owner of the salon) is another amazing hair stylist- he works with so many celebs, i lost count.

heres a recent photo shoot where he did Kim Kardashian's hair- FAB!!!

yes, its beyond fAB!!!

so,
back to the story, one day i am there...for color...its so crowded and than i heard this girl next to me asking for the vinegar conditioner...

and I am like: what the hell is that!!!
how come i haven't heard of this before...me- the hair freak!

didn't want to ask her-to not to look clueless

I came back home and start researching. Thank God for google.

and tada
VINEGAR is great for hair shine!

and it does not have to be like an expensive hair product- but has to be RAW- UNFILTIRED- ORGANIC- APPLE CIDER vinegar. according to the internet...
this is the brand that i bought and... lovinnnnnnnnnn it!
rinse my hair with it once a week

ladies, you can thank me later:)))

this is another thing that i do for shine- especially for photo shoots...
Shine hair spray.
Bb SHINE is really good...
Altough- i gotta tell you it worked better on me when i was a blonde, but its very challenging to shine jet black hair like mine- so its still good!!!

these are the other hair sprays that i use-i always put on 2 different ones at the same time. mix them for better results
.....

and of course, girls best friends:

Hair EXTENSIONS
i have so many of them it would take days to write about all, so wanted show you the main 2 groups
(you just have to own, at least one set of hair extensions)

medium length
waves & Straight

some of them are wide ones- with 3 clips, for the back of the hair
the 2 clip ones are for the sides
these are medium length straights- perfect for sides...

and my Bun extension- so cute!

now i know there are some vitamin/supplements that people take for their hair- even Keratin pills...but I am not really good with taking Vitamins- my stomach does not handle pills well...which i hate :(((...
so, have to go for the natural ways:
 i try to eat
one KIWI
one apple
one banana
everyday...

they may not necessarily be extra helping with hair but Kiwi has many vitamins all together, banana take care of my potassium intake and apple is a good source of fiber...
i couldn't resist the juice, so its gone before taking the pic:))

i drink freshly squeezed fruit juice 3-4 times a week. Carrots+ apple+ lemon

heres some additional info about apples:

The proverb "An apple a day keeps the doctor away.", addressing the health effects of the fruit, dates from 19th century Wales.[62] Fruit specialist J.T. Stinson popularized this proverb during a lecture at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri.[63]
Basic research suggests that apples may reduce the risk of colon cancerprostate cancer and lung cancer.[64] Apple peels contain ursolic acid which, in rat studies, increases skeletal muscle and brown fat, and decreases white fatobesityglucose intolerance, and fatty liver disease.[65]
Apple peels are a source of various phytochemicals with unknown nutritional value[57] and possible antioxidant activity in vitro.[66] The predominant phenolic phytochemicals in apples are quercetinepicatechin, and procyanidin B2.[67]
According to the United States Department of Agriculture, a typical apple serving weighs 242 grams and contains 126 calories with significant dietary fiber and vitamin Ccontent.[68]
Apple juice concentrate has been found to increase the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in mice.[citation needed] Other studies have shown an "alleviation of oxidative damage and cognitive decline" in mice after the administration of apple juice.[69] Fruit flies fed an apple extract lived 10% longer than other flies fed a normal diet.[70]
